   Ssubject+在+từ chỉ nơi chốn+Vverb

   在 + place goes before the predicate verb: the location where the action takes place.

   • 我在北京语言大学学习。

     Wǒ zài Běijīng Yǔyán Dàxué xuéxí.

     I study at Beijing Language and Culture University.

   • 他在十楼住。

     Tā zài shí lóu zhù.

     He lives on the 10th floor.

   • 他在一个大学学习。

     Tā zài yí ge dàxué xuéxí.

     He studies at a university.

   • 我爸爸在一家公司工作。

     Wǒ bàba zài yì jiā gōngsī gōngzuò.

     My father works at a company.

   Ssubject+给+đối tượng+Vverb

   给: the target or beneficiary of an action.

   • 给你介绍一下儿，这是我同屋。

     Gěi nǐ jièshào yíxiàr, zhè shì wǒ tóngwū.

     Let me introduce you (all) to someone: this is my roommate.

   • 下午，她给妈妈打电话。

     Xiàwǔ, tā gěi māma dǎ diànhuà.

     In the afternoon, she calls her mother.
