Explanation
When you expect the answer to be one of two or more possibilities, use an alternative question: A + 还是 + B ？
The answerer chooses one of the options given, for example: 你的车是新的还是旧的？— 我的车是新的。 · 你今天去还是明天去？— 我明天去。
